Use one current issue
Record drawing numbers, revisions and dates in an issue sheet. Withdraw superseded copies from working folders while retaining them as marked history.
Highlight structural changes
Call out altered spans, supports, openings, pitches, raised ties, roof coverings and added loads. Do not rely on the recipient spotting every change between drawings.
Record design approval
Name who may approve dimensions and design information, capture queries and responses, and identify the exact issue released for manufacture.
