Collect the issued documents
Confirm the truss layout, individual profiles, bearings, permanent bracing and restraint details, connection information and revision status.
Plan temporary stability
The contractor must plan safe lifting, placement and temporary restraint for the actual site. Follow competent design and HSE roof-work guidance rather than a generic sequence.
Inspect and record
Agree checks for damage, position, bearings, bracing and unauthorised alterations. Escalate discrepancies before covering the work and retain the accepted records.
